Diamond Home Decor: How to Add Bling to Your Living Space
Diamond home decor; let’s think about that for a moment: Who would have thought that diamond make a great item for home décor? With noteworthy scarcity comes expensiveness and there is nothing more fitting than diamond to make an example of this. As probably the rarest gem stone on earth, diamond is the epitome of rareness, which is why it is kind of a waste to use it as part of a home décor. Diamond should be reserved only for jewelries and that is all about it. Still, diamonds serve as an endless inspiration that offers people a chance to instill some quality shines to their home. Luckily, you can now get synthetic diamonds rather than the true ones because the former makes for more affordable alternatives while the latter would cost you the entire salaries you earn in a year for just a small chunk. Rhinestones and acrylic diamonds are their counterpart’s knock-offs but do not let this derail you. They may be way cheaper but their look is almost as shiny as their original—provided that you choose ones with the highest quality, of course. Get them and you should be good to go to decorating your home with some added bling qualities.
Diamond home decor requires you to purchase the items since it is rather impossible for you to make your own diamonds, unless you have the tools and the skills—in which case, by all means, knock yourself out. But once you manage to get all of them, the rest is up to you. You can either purchase the pre-made décor items or buy parts to use for a DIY project. Good examples for the former would be a glass diamond table art and a diamond paperweight. A glass diamond table decoration would more or less look like a huge diamond sitting on a clear box. Place this anywhere you like and it would turn into an instant conversation-maker. A diamond paperweight is as functional as it is pretty. It can be used to prevent documents from scattering around while looking gorgeous in doing so. Alternatively, you can get a pearly diamond shower curtain to add elegance into your bathroom without doing too much work.
Diamond home decor is also a viable means of DIY project. Get some rhinestones in bulk. Use these tiny pieces of artificial gem stones to fill out a clear vase. You can either leave that be or use it to contain flower (plastic or live, whichever). Pieces of acrylic diamonds can also be glued together to make a bigger piece of décor to be used as a center point in a table. Or, you can purchase some diamond confetti to place in a tray to make a simple and work-/maintenance-free glow up in the living room. Of course, these are only to mention some of the options you can take when you do want to decorate your home with diamonds. Once you manage to get the correct supplies, sky is the limit for your own creativity.
